Apple's Video iPod, (also known as fifth generation iPods), was released in October
2005. The look was basically the same as the photo iPod (4th generation),
albeit with a smaller wheel and larger screen. The iPod video has a 320x240
pixel LCD and the ability to play videos. Fully charged, it can play music
for 16-20 hours and it's good for about 2-3 hours of video. Something
interesting about the iPod video is that it has no firewire port, only USB 2.0.
Now on long road trips or plane rides I can play some music videos, news
clips and movies all on my iPod video.
